Mediafire: 50GB of free cloud storage

Mediafire has launched an application for iOS that, in addition to different functionalities of the services of cloud storage, offers us nothing more and nothing less than 50GB Of space price quotation.

With the rise of mobile devices, cloud storage services they are growing significantly as well. Thanks to them we can take with our small and light tablets and smartphones all the files we want, without the size implying the restriction of processing which in fact would be if we only had the storage capacity that their hard drives lend us, which in some models of some tablets reaches 64GB, but which very usually remain in 16 or 32GB (or even 8GB in the case of the Nexus 7).

We recently proposed a comparative of the main cloud storage services so that you can judge and choose the one that best suits you, but a recent presentation may make you rethink your decision. Mediafire has now launched an application for iOS, which can be downloaded as Delivery to Italy takes one or two business days in the Apple App Store and with which we have access to 50GB without any additional cost. If we take into account that iCloud and GoogleDrive, for example, only give us 5GB for free, the advantage of using Mediafire is remarkable.

On the downside, those 50GB have a 200MB per file limitation, but despite this the storage space that we get will undoubtedly be useful and, although it does not have all the functionalities of iCloud, it can be a good complement for this one. In any case, it does offer us all the basic functionalities that we usually find in this type of cloud storage services, such as wide possibilities for managing files and folders, easy access to upload photos and videos from our device, or to share files by mail or SMS quickly.
