Thanks to the excellent quality / price ratio that Asian manufacturers are able to achieve and the peculiarities of the Chinese market, in which large screens triumph, the offer of phablets with mid-range prices and almost high-end technical specifications does not stop growing. Today it does so with the MX5, the new flagship of Meizu, a company somewhat less popular than others, but we have already seen in the past that it is capable of producing really interesting devices. Not only do we have great technical specs, but we also find that Meizu has used premium materials in its new phablet, with a metal casing that combines perfectly with curved lines and very reduced frames to form a set of great elegance. It is also a fairly fine device, although it does not compete to break any world records (7,9 mm) and weighs 149 grams, a pretty good figure for its size (14,6x7,46 inch).
Technical Specifications
The screen of the Meizu MX5 will be 5.5 inches and will have a resolution Full HD, although what most attracts the attention of its hardware is without any doubt mounting the spectacular processor Helio X10 de Mediatek, with support for 64 bits, eight cores and a frequency of 2,2 GHz. Price and Availability
We turn to the one that is the greatest attraction of this device and that is none other than its price: the most affordable model, 16 GB, will go on sale in China for 1799 yuan, which would be translated in principle by only $260. Getting a little more internal memory, in any case, will not be too expensive: for a few $290 we can have 32 GB and for about $350 64 GB. We do not yet have information, however, of when it will go on sale, although we will be attentive to inform you as soon as possible.
