However, it seems that those of Redmond calculated down the potential of their tablet in this section and the news that now comes, although still negative, makes the picture look somewhat better.
According to this medium, the storage capacity of the tablet was estimated with a model of preproduction, which does not correspond to the one that finally began to be marketed yesterday in the United States. The employee who disseminated the information was working with an image of the operating system that does not work in conventional models, so he reached a conclusion equivocada and that has caused quite a stir, really.
The actual capacity is not that it is good, but it gives a little air to the team. Finally the model of 128 GB remains with 89,7 GB useful, 8% more than what was initially thought, still below the figure presented by other devices that could be considered in its range, such as the MacBook Air, which offers 92,2 GB. The kind of 64 GB it will give us 30 real GB, almost 30% more than we expected. Even so, in the latter case, more than half of the initial memory is consumed in hosting a heavily loaded operating system.
