As rumors about the imminent appearance of a Nexus 10 and operating system Android Key Lime Pie 4.2, we had news of new Motorola mobile devices that would presumably use this operating system and that would be released in 2013. We refer to the Motorola Occam phone and the tablet Motorola Blanket. Now that most analysts have ruled out that Nexus 10 could actually be Manta, we get an analysis of Benchmark of this 10-inch tablet that gives us a lot of information about it.
El AnTuTu Benchmark has put this model of the American company to the test and gives us quite juicy data.
Model name: blanket
Android Version: 4.2
CPU frequency: 1700MHz
RAM: 1479 (MB)
Whole CPU: 2833
CPU float point: 2034
2D graphics: 270
3D graphics: 1247
IO Database: 565
Write SD card: (1.08MB / s) 10.8
Read SD card: (21.6MB / s) 218
Total score: 8754
As we can see, the tablet is using the latest Android operating system, although probably in a poorly developed version that would explain the low result in the test. It is said with enough security that the processor will be a Tegra 3 at 1,7 GHz and tablets with an equal processor and such power give results of 12.000 points.
The appearance of Manta in the AnTuTu test gives the model a reality that is not comparable to the supposed Samsung tablet that all rumors point to will be the next Nexus 10. This possibility has always seemed unnatural since Google bought Motorola in mid-2011. The only thing that seems clear in terms of the operation of Nexus models is that we will see the Nexus 4 manufactured by LG. Of the Nexus 5, that phablet rumored to be made by HTC we don't know anything concrete.
Either way, it seems that with so many candidates we will see a Nexus 10 soon. In my opinion, a Nexus 10 manufactured by Motorola makes more sense than by Samsung Despite the news that reached us today about the Retina-type screen with which this device is paired. Remember that it is Samsung who manufactures the screen that uses the New iPad. Either way, it is very certain that we will leave doubts in the Google event on October 29.
