New Asus Transformer Prime?

A couple of days ago we told you about the FCC or National Telecommunications Commission because there were documents from this institution that seemed to respond to the new version of Kindle Fire. Information about a new Asus tablet that could be part of the next generation of Transformer tablets.

All tablets have to go through the FCC in the United States, and we always get juicy rumors from there. This time it is the turn of a brand tablet Asus, which would respond to the name TF500T, as reported in the online environment AndroidPolice. The name does not contribute to giving us much information, beyond locating it between existing TF300T and TF700T tablets. Although the information is so scarce and could refer to any type of tablet, the nomenclatures that we indicate both respond to models of the Transformer line of tablets, which were launched in April and June of this year, respectively. As is well known, Asus Transformer tablets are characterized by incorporating a keyboard that, when docked, practically turns them into a laptop. It is a very popular line of tablets and a novelty would be, without a doubt, very welcome.

The TF700T is a superior model to the TF300T, with higher screen resolution, lighter, etc. Perhaps the nomenclature of the mysterious tablet should make us think of a intermediate model? What little additional information we have does not give us many clues. It is only known that it would include a processor Integra 3, like the two mentioned tablets, and that it would have a Wi-Fi connection, an HDMI port and a microphone. Regarding the price, it is more or less the same situation: one can only speculate that the new tablet was somewhere between the $ 588 that the first costs and the $ 395 that the second costs (Amazon prices).

We will have to wait a little longer to be able confirm if we are facing the birth of a new member of the Asus Transformer family.

Perhaps ASUS will release a 7 ″ version much cheaper than the TF300T tablet to challenge Amazon, Apple and others.

Hey, I hadn't read the acronym correctly !!! Obviously in confirming that model name, it would go out to counter the Acer firm with its Iconia TAB models. Although it would also stand up to many.
