How to sort YouTube videos
On iOS
- First of all, we open the YouTube application, we go to the channel in which we want to filter the videos availables.
- Next, click on the section Videos.
- Then click on Order, option shown under the Home tab.
- When clicking on Sort, 3 options will be displayed:
- Most recent. This option will show us the videos most recently uploaded to the channel and will order them based on their popularity on the channel.
- Upload Date (Oldest). If we select this option for the application to show us the oldest videos published on the channel.
- Upload date (most recent). This option shows us the most recent videos based on the date.
On Android
- The first thing to do is open the YouTube application and go to channel in which we want to filter the videos available. Within that channel, click on Videos.
- Then click on Order, option shown under the Home tab.
- When clicking on Sort, 3 options will be displayed:
- Most recent. This option will show us the videos most recently uploaded to the channel and will order them based on their popularity on the channel.
- Upload Date (Oldest). If we select this option for the application to show us the oldest videos published on the channel.
- Upload date (most recent). This option shows us the most recent videos based on the date.
In a browser
If your iPad or Android tablet is so old that does not allow application installation available in the Play Store and App Store, we can use the platform through a browser.
The user interface of the application is different from what we can find through a browser.
For sort the videos of a YouTube channel Using the version for browsers, we must perform the steps that I show you below:
- The first thing we must do is access the YouTube website and you walk this link.
- Click on the channel where we want to computer the videos and then on the section Videos.
- Next, we go to the right part of the application and click on Order.
- When clicking on Sort, 3 options will be displayed:

How to sort YouTube playlists
YouTube, in addition to allowing us to sort the videos shown on a YouTube channel, also allows us sort the playlists where the channels are sorted.
YouTube playlists, allows content creators group videos of the same theme, so that, if a user searches for similar videos, they can find them all in one place.
Unfortunately, YouTube does not offer us the ability to sort the videos that are part of a playlist, it only allows us to sort the playlists according to the videos that have been recently included.

On iOS
- We open the application, we we go to the channel where we want to order the playlists and click on the tab Subscriber lists.
- Next, click on Order and 2 options will be displayed:
- Upload date (most recent): Option that will show us in chronological order from most recent to oldest the lists that have added a new video.
- Last video added. By selecting this option, only the last video that has been published in that playlist will be shown
On Android
- We open the application, we we go to the channel where we want to order the playlists and click on the tab Subscriber lists.

- We open the browser and we access the YouTube website by clicking on this link.
- Next, we go to the section Subscriber lists.
- Next, we go to the right part of the web and click on Order.
