Integrated
Despite the fact that we find two devices with very different price ranges, the truth is that the Xiaomi not too far behind the pixel XL in the design section (leaving aside, of course, the assessment that we can personally of the aesthetics of each one of them): with both we are going to enjoy premium finishes and materials and both have a fingerprint reader, for course.
Dimensions

Storage capacity
As was the case when comparing it with the OnePlus 3, we find that the pixel XL It is not greatly affected by not having a micro-SD card slot, because neither does the Mi 5s Plus it has it, but this one does have the advantage of compensating for this lack with more internal memory in the standard version (32 GB against 64 GB).
Camera
You already know that the camera is probably the great claim of the pixel XL, and that its main virtues are in the software and in the size of the pixels (1,55 micrometers). The Mi 5s Plus, for its part, equals it in number of megapixels (13 MP), but instead of large pixels it has opted for a dual camera. Regarding the front camera, the victory would be clear for the phablet of Google (8 MP against 4 MP).
Autonomy
Although we will have to wait to see what the actual use tests do not say, if we look at its technical specifications, it seems clear that the Mi 5s Plus part with an important advantage, with a battery of much greater capacity (3450 mAh against 3800 mAh) and with a lower resolution, which should be quite noticeable in consumption.
Price
We will also have to wait to see how much the phablet of Google when it is launched in our country, but except for a capital surprise, the price difference between these two models will be around, at least, 400 euros: the pixel XL it is not expected to fall below $800, Whereas the Mi 5s Plus was announced so that the change would be little more than $300, which leaves it a long way off even taking into account the price increase that the importers suppose.
The front camera has 2µm pixels, so the Google Pixel is not a "so clear" victory.
