Pokémon Quest is Nintendo's new game for iOS and Android

We recently did a review of the best Nintendo games and we remembered that we had pending the launch of a few titles, including a version for mobile devices of Mario Kart, but now we discovered that we had one more on the way and no less than one belonging to the popular Pokémon saga: we can already take the first look at Pokémon Quest.

This is Pokémon Quest, an RPG with a Minecraft touch

Just because it is a game of Nintendo based on the universe Pokémon We can say without much doubt that it will become a huge download success, but it will help a lot so that it is clear that it is designed to be a title that can reach a wide audience, with many elements of the RPG, but simplified enough that it doesn't overwhelm the more casual gamers.

This seems to be especially noticeable in combat, which is executed automatically, leaving more of the preparation part of it in our hands, which means that we will have to worry above all about improving skills and equipment. for our Pokémon. In fact, the game has a lot of crafting, although it still leaves enough room for digital workplace strategy in planning the battle.

Regarding the graphic section, Nintendo has opted this time for a pixelated aesthetic in the style Minecraft, a very popular strategy in the field of games for mobile devices, and from what we have seen, it takes a lot out of it. There is no need to fear, therefore, that the game will be too demanding and the most limited devices will be left out.

It will arrive free in the month of June

Those who have a Nintendo Switch can now get down to work with Pokémon Quest, but for mobile devices, unfortunately, we will have to wait a little longer, although not too long (as we said at the beginning, it will arrive before games announced months ago), since it has been announced that it will be available to end of June.

It will also be a free download (as all games of Nintendo with the exception of Super Mario Run), although you can imagine that it will include in-app purchases. It's too early to say how aggressive they are going to be, but judging from what we've seen in their latest releases there doesn't seem to be any reason to fear that they might end up ruining the gaming experience, as they sometimes do.

Despite the criticisms that can be made to freemium games, what cannot be denied that they are good is that at least giving it a try will not cost us anything, so we can all judge for ourselves. At the moment we do not have an exact date for its arrival at the App Store y Google Play, but we will be attentive to notify you as soon as it is possible to download it.
