The Mac tool has had a tough rival in Apple's own Aperture. Users were divided into their preferences for one program or the other. However, Adobe is ahead of its competitor by leapfrogging Cupertino tablets and including a feature that makes the tool much more meaningful: the ability to sync edited files between devices. That is, if you touch up a photo on your iPad then you will find it on your Mac, and vice versa, to continue working on it or to be able to archive it, send it or whatever you want no matter where you are.
The development of the application is very early as we can see in the images of the program that an executive of the company has passed to CNET. It is curious to see that the application is being tested on an iPad 2. At first you might think that Adobe is working on a version of this software that is truly inclusive with Apple devices and without tremendous hardware requirements. This option is unlikely since this program is really powerful and requires a lot of resources and, of course, a high resolution screen to enjoy in detail. It seems more logical to think that this equipment is sufficient for this phase of development of the application, but that once advanced functions are added and a final version is reached that requires the third generation of the tablet.
What we do know is that the files can be downloaded to the tablet directly from the cloud in 36 MPX RAW.
No date has been given for the release of this app but we will still have to wait a long time as the project is in an early phase.
