Qualcomm keep bringing us interesting news to improve the autonomy and load times of our smartphones and tablets. As predicted when the firm submitted its Quick Charge, the news about a new generation of this technology has come quite quickly: today it was announced Quick Charge 2.0, which would allow us to charge our mobile devices up to 75% faster. The presentation coincides with the arrival to Google Play of the application Snapdragon Battery Guru, designed for optimize consumption of devices with these processors.

As you already made clear Larry Page, the battery is one of the main concerns of the users of Android and one of the points most in need of improvement. However, it is not Google the only one who seems willing to come up with his own solutions. Some days ago Qualcomm presented its technology Quick Charge, which was already running on various devices (such as the Nexus 4, HTC Droid DNA or Lumia 920) and that allowed the load to be made 40% faster.

In that same presentation, the company already announced to us that it was continuing to work to improve this system and today they have let us know Quick Charge 2.0, which increases the loading speed by up to 75%.

However, it is not the only news of Qualcomm regarding improvements for the batteries of users with devices that use their processors: today it has also reached Google Play, Snapdragon Battery Guru. Its objective, like that of others that we have already presented, is simply to improve the management of the device's energy consumption.

There are, however, two small details that distinguish it: the first and most obvious is that it can only be used in devices with processors Snapdragon, the second is that the battery saving settings are done in a Automatic and is learning in a way intelligent of the use that we give to our devices, so that it begins to give results after a couple of days with it installed, but it continues to increase its efficiency indefinitely, since it continues to constantly improve its knowledge of our habits. At the moment it is only a version beta, but if you dare to try it, you can Download in a Delivery to Italy takes one or two business days.
