How to take secret photos with your Android, without opening the camera app

QuickCamera

I am sure that on some occasion you have found yourself in a funny circumstance, of which you would like to have taken a photograph, but in which you have to launch the camera app and focusing was going to be too cheeky and would have broken the magic of the moment. Today we are talking about a tool that will allow us to capture scenarios discreetly, with a simple click.

The application is called QuickCamera and it will help us to more easily perform two specific tasks: take photos quickly, instantly, or to do it secretly. Logically, by not launching the application and not seeing a preview on the screen of the capture that we are going to make, a extra dose of dexterity to aim well on the desired frame and do not leave the image cropped. Still, with how easy it is to shoot, we can take a few photos burst randomly and then stick with the best one.

Installing the app

The Quick Camera app is Delivery to Italy takes one or two business days and it can be downloaded from this link on the Play Store.

The app was not found in the store. 🙁

As you will see, it is a lightweight app and it does not require too many permissions for its installation. Its interface is quite basic, perhaps it could be improved, and it contains advertisements at the bottom. Anyway, once we have it configured to taste, it is very possible that we will not need to enter it again since we can work with a floating button On the home screen, a widget or even a specific icon that will appear in the application box.

How Quick Camera works

Its operation and configuration options are also easy to follow, despite the fact that the interface appears entirely in English. On 'Settings' we will fix everything to our liking: its upper part gives us the possibility to choose with which camera to shoot, front or rear, if we want to receive a notification after the shot, if we want to notice a brief vibration, activate the flash and most useful of all: enable a tiny floating button that will appear both on the home screen and in the different applications that we are running (you can see it below). In this way we will always be ready to take a capture.

If we go down a bit there are a couple of menus to choose resolution of the capture, which, we must take into account, will also affect the ratio of the photo. The figures will depend on the capabilities specific hardware of our equipment.

Where are the photos

All the photos we take are stored in the part of the App Gallery. Using my tablet, a Nexus 9, I see that these images do not appear in Google Photos, but we can also access them with a file explorer, since Quick Camera create your own folder in 'Pictures'.

If you have a device that supports memories micro SDYou can choose to directly store the images on the card from the main screen of the application.

Logically, not Quick Camera it will not give us the complexity of a dedicated software exclusively to take photos, but it will give us other really interesting virtues.
