Although in the first news we had about her it was insisted that with this new tablet Microsoft I did not want to replicate the strategy of the Surface RT, but to bet on a format more similar to that of the iPad, in the end we have found that the Surface GB It is basically, once again, a small Surface Pro, and in the images that have begun to circulate on it we see it again and again accompanied by a keyboard, mouse and stylus, emphasizing the 2-in-1 concept characteristic of this range.
If the format has not changed too much after all, yes we are going to gain in portability, and although the frames seem relatively thick and, indeed, it is not a very compact tablet (24,5x17,5 inch), at least already in weight there is an important difference, staying in 520 grams (without keyboard). Full HD display and Intel Pentium processors
We have not had time for too many leaks, but the few that have circulated have been quite spot on and we have not had many surprises in terms of technical specifications, starting because the choice of processors has been confirmed Intel Pentium for this Surface GB, although ultimately there will not be two options, but we will only have one Gold 4415Y. Yes there will be several RAM configurations (4 / 8 GB) and storage capacity (64 / 128 / 256 GB). Important to note that it will arrive with Windows 10 S.
