These are our selected.
Making a selection with the best games of the year is becoming more difficult every year, since games for mobile devices already know what it is a thriving sector, with more and more launches. There are also more and more games with console quality for which it may be worth spending a few euros, although we have preferred to limit ourselves fundamentally to the free games, so that there are no pocket differences.
To present our selection we have decided to bet to make it easier by choosing our favorite for each gender but, obviously, we are left out of the most interesting titles in each category. On this occasion, in addition, given that the gap between iOS y Android is less and less, we can present them together, since all the selected ones are both in the App Store as in Google Play.
Action: Spider-Man Unlimited
As in the rest of the cases, between the games of action that have debuted this year, the list of recommendations could be very long, but being forced to choose only one, our vote is for Spider-Man Unlimited, released by Gameloft a few months ago and surely many of you have already been able to try. Among its attractions is not only having as the protagonist one of the most popular superheroes of MarvelRather, it is a very fortunate combination of runner and combat, which results in a very dynamic game, but without missing an interesting backstory.
Shooters: Brothers in Arms 3
We have decided to separate the shooters from the rest of action games for all those whose preferences are inclined towards firearms. The truth is, however, that compared to other years in 2014 we have not had too many great titles in this genre, at least free, so it is probably the newly released Brothers in Arms 3 (with permission, perhaps, from Contract Killer: Sniper, from Glu) the one that deserves to win the award. The latest installment in this popular war saga by Gameloft is set, like its predecessors, in World War II and keeps its main attractions intact: an interesting story, good graphics and combat with companions.
Strategy: Star Wars: Commander
It's hard to recommend a game of digital workplace strategy online and not precisely because titles are lacking, but because on the contrary, the offer is really wide and, for better or worse, the key elements of the genre are already well defined and the similarities between some titles and others is quite large, being the setting in the end what gives them more personality.
