Although it might seem that a stressed person is perfectly capable of realizing their state, sometimes we find ourselves so involved in daily activity that we even forget the signals that our own body sends us. In this sense, Samsung has added a curious function to the Galaxy S5 through which we can measure and monitor our stress level, thanks to the heart rate sensor built into the smartphone.
Despite the fact that this morning we learned that the Korean company is preparing the Update of Android Kitkat 4.4.3 For the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5, this novelty in Samsung's latest flagship is totally separate. It consists of a function that will allow us measure stress levels and observe its evolution over time ... and it is sometimes good to stop for a minute and weigh whether we should lower the revolutions (in case it is possible, of course).

As we say, this stress level meter is coming to the Samsung application dedicated to the health and physical exercise. Its operation is very simple and it uses, for the measurement, the heart rate sensor that is under the flash of the terminal, on its back.
The application is able to recognize small changes in the pulse and depending on the intensity of these we will know to what extent we are stressed. You can take a look (above) at the screenshot of the interface published by our colleagues from network to get an idea of how easy it is to use.
A useful tool in everyday life
As they point out in cult of android, maybe this new function won't tell us anything if we use it once and immediately forget about it. In fact, there are specific times when we can get a high reading of our stress, depending on what we are doing. The most appropriate way to get accurate information is to test it for a long time and attend to its evolution to see what exactly our state is.
