Many of us find it strange that Samsung has convened the media in an event of its own to present its new tablets, when the Galaxy S5 it was announced during the MWC and had to share a poster with the news of other firms; for example with the Xperia Z2. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4, uncovered
This press photo shows the front and profile the most anticipated Samsung tablet in a long time. As you can see, it offers a very similar appearance to the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it will include several technologies that were released with the Galaxy S5.
Some screenshots of the 10,5-inch model already exposed one of its main features: the fingerprint sensor whose operation will be identical to the one mounted on the Galaxy S5.
Regarding the specifications, both teams will have an AMOLED screen with 2560 × 1600 pixels and mount a processor Exynos 5420 Octa-core, 3GB of RAM and Android Kitkat. The 8,4-inch screen will achieve a density of 350 dpi.
Presentation on June 12
As we told you, on June 12, Samsung will officially announce these tablets during an event in New York. In principle, its characteristics are excellent , but what we know does not improve in an extraordinary way what is seen in the Galaxy Tab Pro. The fact that the tablets have their own event gives us something to think about: surely something escapes us or we are offered something unexpected detail during the keynote.
