El iPad has been first tablet in the ranking of consumer satisfaction for the second consecutive year that the market research company JD Power has been conducting. This company measures consumer satisfaction with many product ranges, especially in the automotive sector, and is a benchmark in this type of study in North America. In the results obtained, the Apple tablet surpasses all its competitors although the distance in points is not very remarkable.
JD Power interviewed 1857 tablet owners in the United States to do the study. All those consumers had been making use of their acquisition for less than a year, so we are talking about recent products. Five aspects were determined in which the interviewees should evaluate their tablets:
- Performance
- Ease of handling
- Style and design
- Features
- Cost
The highest mark a product could achieve is 1000 points. Although each consumer spoke specifically about their product, we will talk about the notes of the manufacturers' brands by unifying the results obtained in their various models.
Tablets Apple reached 836 points. Then come those of Amazon they got a score of 829 points. Third is Asus with 822 points. In fourth place figure Acer with 818 and, in fifth, Samsung with 784 points.
All the results of the first brands are quite good, taking into account that the average is 828 points.
Transversally to the ranking carried out, a pattern has been found in which it determines the level of user satisfaction with their tablets: users who share their tablet are more satisfied with them. Users who share them with more than 4 people are the most satisfied. In this sense, tablets with multi-user capacity or with parental control. The most advanced of Android have the first aspect and the iPad and the Kindle Fire with the second.

If I have several friends who do not stop complaining, in addition to the fact that the product is twice as expensive as an Android Tablet, most of the good applications are very expensive, compared to the competition.
