Every time the CEO of Apple speaks, it is news and more so if he does so in a personal interview with the world's most important economic newspaper, the Wall Street Journal. There are several aspects of interest that are visited in that conversation with the New York newspaper, but in this article we want to highlight what refers to the iphablet, which appears to be still in testing.

Before dispatching at ease with Google and the Android tablet experience, Tim Cook is asked about an iPhone with a bigger screen. The journalist tells him that consumers love him and what his position is. More clearly than on other occasions, Cook points out that they won't take that step until they have the right technology to do it. He argues that the screen size calibration includes many factors to be resolved in order to offer a full experience. The screen must be taken care of since it is the window to the software.

Somehow, the CEO of Apple suggests here that what manufacturers with Android or Nokia are doing with Windows Phone is premature and not entirely well finished.

It is interesting that Cook also speaks in this interview of the emerging markets. In Asia, one of the most important regions is precisely where these types of phones with screens above 5 inches are most in demand. The Apple Chair is satisfied with the results they are having, with iPhone sales growth by 30%. He believes that they are markets with the implicit difficulty that there was never an iPod, the product that served as a business card for mobile devices in other markets around the world.

What does seem clear is that in 2014 Apple will bring a new product category. So says Cook who has been reluctant to talk about the nature of this new type of product, but has stated that no one will be able to say that it is not a new category when they show it.
