We have talked a lot these last days about the new MediaPad T3, which until now had seen the light only with 7 and 8 inches, but it was to be expected that a 10 inch model it would also see the light sooner or later, and it seems that it has been rather before: we give you all the details of the new Huawei tablet.
Metal housing even in the entry-level range
Regarding the design, the 10-inch model is quite similar to the smaller ones that we already knew, except that, logically, it is oriented to use in a landscape position. And, of course, this means that, as in all tablets of Huawei, even in the basic range like this, we will be able to enjoy a metal casing, in two tones: gray and gold.
It is also quite interesting for a tablet like this the one that has achieved quite stylized lines, which leave us a device that for the size of its screen is relatively compact for the size of its screen (22,98x15,98 inch) and not too thick (7,95 mm) nor heavy (460 grams).
Qualcomm processor and Android Nougat inside
Its technical specifications are quite modest, but we must not lose sight of the fact that this line is a basic range, so it falls within what is expected that the resolution of its screen of 9.6 inches stay in HD (1280 x 800), which is probably the least brilliant section of the tablet, thinking about the competition.
The processor is a Snapdragon 425 quad core to 1,4 GHz, like the 8-inch model, and also here we will have the option to choose between 2 or 3 GB RAM memory as an accompaniment. Another good news is that it comes with Android Nougat, something that is always appreciated, especially with the infrequency with which entry-level tablets are updated.
The storage capacity will be 16 or 32 GB, depending on the model, but it seems that in this case we would not have the possibility of expanding it through a micro-SD card, so it may be interesting to bet on the superior model, which is going to be the one that also gives us a plus of RAM for multitasking.
Finally, we have a battery of 4800 mAh, and a camera 5 MP in the back and another of 2 MP on the front. Coinciding in this last point also completely with the 8-inch model (in general, its technical specifications are very similar to those of this other).
Price and Availability
What we are missing, as with the other two models, is the launch data, which means that at the moment we do not know how much it will cost or how long we will have to wait for it to arrive in stores. We will be attentive but it seems that with a reasonable price, it could be an interesting option.
And we take the opportunity to remind you that we are waiting for a new one to debut soon. 3-inch MediaPad M10, the successor to the current MediaPad M2 10, so stay tuned if what you are interested in is a more upper-middle-range tablet.
