Just a week ago today, on June 24, Nokia announced the second generation of its family of Android smartphones, Nokia X2. Finally Microsoft gave free rein to this project that the Finns started shortly before the sale was confirmed and that in principle, meant a disagreement between the two. Now the price that the terminal will have on arrival in Spain has been known, 139 euros, finally a little higher than expected but equally interesting.
As the companions of AndroidHelp, Microsoft handles an idea around the Nokia X range. An idea that a few months ago did not seem entirely feasible but that after the good feelings of the first generation of Android smartphones, they seem to be carrying out, and is none other than to replace the role the Asha played. The feeling is that they have found the key to convince those who liked the look of Windows but did not want to make the leap due to other factors, such as the lower availability of applications, thanks to AOSP and the interface that emulates the one found in Windows devices.
The new Nokia X2 also gives a leap in the visual and technical section. In the design, the vivid colors (yellow, orange and green) are enhanced by a translucent layer that enhances the brightness of the terminal, which seems ideal for those who prefer the flashy to the formal. In any case, it is still available in black and white. Regarding the characteristics, we find a 4,3 inch with WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels), a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 with two 1,2 GHz cores, 1 gigabyte of RAM, 4 expandable internal memory with microSD card, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, WiFi and Bluetooth compatibility, dual SIM, 1.800 mAh battery.
An important aspect that those who are thinking of buying it must take into account, it does not have it installed by default Google Play, the Mountain View application store. It can be installed, but for this you must have certain knowledge in the field. On the contrary, there will always be the option of alternative stores, although as you know, they tend to be less safe and are sometimes sources of malware distribution.
The price in Spain: 139 euros
As we said at the beginning, today we have learned the price it will finally have upon arrival in our country. It will be available in the month of September as those responsible have confirmed, and it will be available for a price of 139 euros. It is higher than expected, since it was said to be around 100 euros, but it is still attractive. It remains to be seen if it is enough to compete with established models of the lower-middle range such as the Motorola Moto G and Moto E.
