Will the Nexus 5 be a version of the LG G2 at 300 euros?

LG Nexus 5

Last week, different media echoed the possibility that the Nexus 5 was a device manufactured by Motorola and released at the end of the year. This was assured by a journalist with good sources, known for his accurate predictions. However, new data put LG back as the most plausible manufacturer. If so, the Korean firm would simply tweak some aspects of its LG G2 to make it the next Google terminal.

Every year the person in charge of making each new Nexus becomes a mystery to be solved. If there is already information that indicates that the next 7-inch tablet will be borne by LG next year and the 10 in charge of Asus, with smartphones the doubts are not minor. Last year LG and Sony seemed the most likely candidates. In fact, false photos of a terminal of the Japanese brand appeared with the logo of Nexus.

Motorola, one of the options

This year the controversy returns. Last week various specialized media accepted Taylor Wimberly's words, according to which Motorola would be responsible for manufacturing the Nexus 5 and would be working to offer from Q4 a completely different terminal to the Moto X. This possibility was interesting since the fact that Motorola is a Google company invited to think that the stock problems last year they would not be repeated.

The Nexus 5 could be an LG G2 with somewhat lower performance

LG Nexus 5

However, a South Korean media again points in the direction of LG and claims that the Nexus 5 will be a G2 with somewhat lower performance to get a higher price or economic sector.; which would mean a 5-inch screen (instead of 5,2), a Snapdragon 600 processor (instead of 800), 2GB of RAM and a 10-megapixel camera (instead of 13-megapixel) without an optical stabilizer. Of course, its price would be similar to that of the Nexus 4, starting from the $300.

What do you think of these specifications? Will it be a good purchase option? Which manufacturer would you like the most for the Nexus 5, LG or Motorola?
