The HTC One X5 phablet is waiting

HTC had called the media today to present its new products among which the five inch phablet, which will be the great competitor of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. In fact, several US media took it for granted that it would, but in the end the thing remained in the announcement of two phones with Windows 8 that will arrive in November. We continue waiting that the device, half phone half tablet, from HTC becomes a reality.

Today in New York at 11 (17 Spanish time) the htc event in which almost all the American specialized media stated that the HTC One X5. There had been a lot of speculation about this launch, just last Monday we echoed an information from AndroidGuys which affirmed that it would come to have a brutal resolution, far from what is known until now. This source claimed that pixel density per screen would be 480, far surpassing the 326 PPi of the iPhone 5, or which will undoubtedly be its main competitor in the phablet market: the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, with 285 PPI.

However, it seems that this device will be waiting since the presentation has ended about an hour ago and we have not had any news of the expected phablet. I already painted bad when Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, made an appearance at the event, and it would have been a bit bad if it had been presented an Android device in front of the head of another of the reference operating systems on mobile devices. Secondly, there has been no news about a tablet either, which was also given as possible novelty in the afternoon today and whose photos have been circulating for a long time.

Finally, a couple of brand phones were presented at the event HTC with Windows 8, one 4 inches (8S) and the other slightly larger, 4,3 (8X). The general feeling, after Ballmer's presence at the event, just a couple of weeks after he had been with Nokia, is that the Finnish company was not going to like the matter too much. For more information about these terminals we refer to on the Internet.

Regarding the phablet, the news right now is quite confusing and some bewilderment reigns in the US media. As soon as we have more news on the matter we will inform.
