Oppo continues with its campaign of teasers to warm up the presentation of your O, for which there is less than a week left, and this time he has done so suggesting that the next October 29 we will attend the debut of not one, but two smartphones. Most likely, however, it is actually two models of the same phablet, but the truth is that it seems that we could meet with major differences in design.
The two Oppo N3 models
We have already had the opportunity to see several filtered images of the O, which correspond perfectly with the partial views that it has been giving us Oppo of the device in its teasers, in addition, and that they also fit with what is expected, which is continuity with respect to the O. In the last teaser of the company, we see it one more time (or rather, the upper left corner of it).
Doubts arise when we look at the other device, of which we only see another fragment (the upper right corner), but which seems enough to conclude that its design is quite different. What device is this? Considering that there appears to be a slight difference in size, you might think that it could be a oppo n3 mini. although the truth is that it does not seem that this difference in size is too large (of course, it is not the size that usually distinguishes the "mini" versions lately). The most likely option, therefore, is that what we are seeing in that image is the second model that, on the other hand, is already confirmed that it will exist.
To this second model, in principle, it was going to distinguish fundamentally the material used in the casing, which would be a aluminum lithium alloy instead of stainless steel, but it cannot be ruled out that the differences go further. Curiously, an image of a supposed prototype of the O that seems to fit perfectly with that little piece that we see in the teaser and indeed it would have a very attractive design, which could perhaps convince a few additional buyers.
A device 4 millimeters thick?
Although, as always, we will have to wait for the official presentation to clear up doubts, we cannot fail to mention, more as a curiosity than as a clue to take into account, that the rumor is circulating in Asian forums that it is a device completely different from the one characterized by its spectacular thinness: nothing more and nothing less than 4 mm. As you can imagine, the plausibility of this theory is really slim (the record is now at 5,1mm and it seems very difficult to beat), but there it is.
