Although it has only just arrived (the smartphones that assemble it have only been in stores for a few months in the best of cases), we are already preparing to say goodbye to the Snapdragon 805 and replace it with the Snapdragon 810, the processor called to move all high-end smartphones next year. However, there is still a lot of information about him that was unknown and that now could have been revealed.
New details of the Snapdragon 810 are discovered
According to the latest information, the Snapdragon 810 would have a Eight core CPU, four A-57s with a frequency of 1,96 GHz and four A-53 a, 1,56 GHz. The difference with the CPU frequency of the Snapdragon 805, as you can see, it is remarkable: in the Galaxy Note 4 and Nexus 6, for example, its frequency is 2,7 GHz nothing less. If we just looked at this parameter, the Snapdragon 810 would have regressed to levels of Snapdragon 800.
This is not the only parameter to take into account, however, and it cannot even be said that we are going to have less powerful devices, since there is not a correlation as direct as that. In any case, the Snapdragon 810 is going to leave us a few evolutions that are also very important: the first of them, the 64-bit support, something key to take advantage of Android Lollipop 5.0 and the versions that follow; the second, a greater efficiency in terms of consumption.
The first devices with Snapdragon 810 have already seen the light
As we said, it is expected that you will hear a lot about this processor in the coming months since it is expected that all the flagships of 2015 will mount it (although in some cases it is not entirely clear, for example, with the HTC One M9), but curiously its debut has been carried out by a phablet and a tablet from a much less popular manufacturer, Intrinsic.
