Three photos show the potential of the Huawei Honor 6 Plus camera

Big day yesterday at Huawei, showing that the proximity of CES in Las Vegas and the end of the year are not enough for us to stop seeing new proposals. We talk about Honor 6 Plus, the new smartphone from the Chinese firm, which after several weeks surrounded by rumors, finally jumped on stage in Beijing. This device stood out from the first leaks for its dual camera, one of the great attractions. Well, a few hours after becoming official, we have the first photographs taken with the device that give a good example of its potential.

We said that December 16 was a great day for Huawei, and in addition to the Honor 6 Plus launch, announced the arrival of the Honor T1 tablet to the European market. Returning to the smartphone, practically all the features that had been discussed for several days were confirmed. Screen of 5,5 inch Full HD, processor Kirin 925, 3 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of storage, possibility of having 4G connectivity and 3.600 mAh.

We also checked the final result of the dual camera that we had seen in the images of the device passing through the Tenaa. Finally, it has a double 8 megapixel sensor that reaches an effective pixel size of 1,98 microns, has the possibility of varying the aperture between f / 0.95 and f / 16 and a focus speed of 0,1 seconds.

What can you offer?

As the companions of AndridHelp, the images that we leave you below are the first sample made with the final product. It is true that we already saw some others days ago, but the improvement is evident. We must keep in mind that the first uses an aperture of f/2 and ISO 100, the second aperture f/5.6 and ISO 80 and the third aperture f4 and ISO 125.

As you can see, the results are quite good. It is true that the three captures have been made at a short distance, a situation in which thanks to the HTC One M8, which mounts a similar camera, although 4 megapixels, we already presumed that it would move like a charm. We continue with the doubt of seeing what happens when the plane opens, and that is that the Taiwanese terminal does not handle long distances well. In any case, the feeling is that the image processor (ISP) is up to the task based on the results.
