This year's MWC continues its course and that translates not only into the appearance of new devices, but also in the celebration of a multitude of events throughout Barcelona on the occasion of this technology fair. Broadly speaking, the idea of this platform is quite similar to that of the CES that we presented to you a few weeks ago coinciding with the appointment in Las Vegas. Several functions stand out, such as the calendar with the main lectures and presentations and in which the place where they will be held and the starting and closing times of each of them appears. In addition, it contains a system of recommendations that warns of those talks and events related to the preferences of the users.

Another of the most outstanding components of this tool is the possibility of send messages in the style of WhatsApp within the application itself. At the same time, it allows you to create your own notes and schedules to plan the best possible visit to the different stands. However, all this has an important limitation: It is intended exclusively for congress attendees.

The official MWC application does not have no initial cost. Launched just a few days ago, at the moment it has been around 50.000 downloads. It has received some criticism for errors when registering and accessing it and also, for unexpected closures when entering certain menus or features such as maps. Developed by a team from Atlanta, to run correctly it needs terminals whose Android and iOS versions are higher than 5 and 9 respectively.
