Here goes a tutorial to install WhatsApp on an Android tablet without being root.

Download Go Contacts EX and install it on our tablet.
This can be done directly from Google Play on your tablet. Some will tell you that it is not compatible. So we need an Android phone and download the app App Backup & Restore. You download it here. Once installed on the mobile, you go to the tab Installed and select the Go Contacts EX application. Then in App Backup & Restore we go to the section Archived and we select with the finger pressed Go Contacts EX and we give it Send. Then, we choose an email that we will access later from the tablet. On the tablet, we enter that email, download the file and install it.
Download WhatsApp and install it on our tablet
Again, we can do it in Google Play, but in some cases it will tell us that our device is not compatible. Again the option of the smartphone with App Backup & Restore is necessary.
Once on the tablet, we configure it with our mobile number. It will require us a Verification code that we will receive by SMS on our mobile. We enter that code and it is done. Then we just have to look for the contacts in Go Contacts EX and link them to WhatsApp.
As always, note that this procedure is done at your own risk, but it is good to know that it is risk-free in our opinion.

Hello, a simpler way is to download the apks from go contacs and whatsaap (found on the internet), put them on the sd card of the tablet, and run their installation.
