La new Nexus 7 it's on the minds of every techie. There have been leaks and some data that supported an imminent arrival but were not entirely conclusive. Recently there have been two events that suggest that the device is about to go live.
Two days ago, an Asus device was seen going through the Bluetooth SIG certification process. The tablet carried the AsuS K008 codename and it had a 7-inch screen. The interesting thing is that the nomenclature of the software compilation that it carried was JWR11, the same one that carried another device of the Taiwanese brand in May whose code name was ME307T, exactly as the first Nexus 7 was initially called. Both used Android 4.3.
The strange thing about the case is that a device with the same code name, K008, was recently seen by the FCC, carrying a 10-inch screen with a Qualcomm processor. In the test now it is perfectly indicated that it is 7 inches.
As you can see, this indication is somewhat confusing but it points to the fact that things are moving in the manufacturer that Mountain View trusts.
On the other hand, there is another less tangible but clarifying symptom. As other Android Help media reported yesterday, Nexus 7 accessories are starting to become scarce in the official American store. Specifically, he misses the lack of stock in the official base. Other brands let us see that they are going to renew the product by lowering the prices of the one that is going to be withdrawn a little before the new one comes out. In Apple and Google they do not do it like that, but there are also movements in their stores, linked to accessories.
