Sunflex has presented in Las Vegas a total solution to digital content for homes. Is named UNU and a tablets that, by means of a dock station and a couple of controls, works as tablet, console, Smart TV and media player. With the operating system Android 4.1 as an engine this set comes to do what Apple TV was looking for and in some aspects Google TV but emphasizing the console function a little more.
In this CES we have already seen some similar holistic solution, but this one is remarkable. We do not know anything about the small tablet in terms of technical specifications, probably because they are not so spectacular and because what is remarkable are the other aspects: the accessories and the functionality.
Connected to the station o Dock, transmit the image of the tablet to your television. Then using a remote control we can control a mouse pointer as if it were our finger and thus navigate, open applications, etc ... mouse o Air Mouse it works positionally, that is, it perceives your movements with an accelerometer and transmits it to the pointer. That same command when turning it has a QWERTY keyboard so you can type search criteria or even write an email.
It also has a Remote Console properly that works perfectly with all the Android games that you download on the tablet, also those from Google Play. The appearance of the controller is quite similar to that of the XBOX.
And of course, the tablet works independently although its size is quite small, so it will always invite you to connect it. In this presentation video that Sunflex has disclosed it is very clear what the options are.
One of them, precisely the one that gives you the most capacity like Smart TV is Netflix and we all know what happens with the streaming service for movies, series and documentaries in Spain.
We do not know anything about the price or availability, but we will be attentive.
