Vizio 10.1 Tablet VS Nexus 10. The Throne of Best Short Lasting Tablet

Vizio 10.1 Tablet VS Nexus 10

One of the biggest surprises at CES 2013 was seeing the first tablet with the new Nvidia Tegra 4 processor. The tablet is called Vizio 10.1 tablet And it is a real beast and to hit the stores with the specifications that it has shown at the technology fair in Las Vegas, it would be the best tablet out there. Curiously, a model that is quite similar and that has seen the light relatively recently is the Google tablet, Nexus 10 created by Samsung, which until recently held the title. We are going to make a comparative with what we know so far about this tablet, but above all, emphasizing the promise of its specifications.

Design, size and weight

Whoever has held the Vizio 10.1 Tablet in their hands has said that they saw it smaller than Nexus 10 or iPad 4 as it was the smallest frame. The feeling when holding it is that it is terribly light, it has even been said that it is as if it had no battery. Its design is minimalist, perhaps accentuating this feeling of lightness.

Vizio 10.1 Tablet VS Nexus 10

Screen

It seems that the limit of what is reasonable on screens has just found a limit that already seems absurd to be obsessed with exceeding. The reference was marked by Nexus 10 and some devices have followed it, but no one seems interested in offering anything crazier than this anymore.

Processor and performance

Tegra 4 is the best processor for mobile devices that we can imagine right now. As for CPU it has the same architecture ARM A15 than the Exynos 5 of Nexus 10 but in the graphic section we have an incomparable beast of 72 nuclei. This added to the 2 GB of RAM that both provide should put Vizio above. The videos show an exaggerated fluency. In addition, both carry the latest operating system from Android Jelly Bean 4.2.

Storage

The storage can be equal in 32 GB although the starting option of Google's is 16 GB. What happens is that in the latter we miss the SD slot that allows to expand

Connectivity

They are equaled in principle in this regard, although it would be necessary to know in detail what type of WiFi this last tablet carries.

Cameras

In numbers they are very similar although we do not know the performance and video recording quality of the Vizio. The detail of the NFC seems necessary on any high-end non-Apple tablet.

Sound

We found two speakers on both tablets, although we haven't heard too much about how it sounds.

Price and conclusions

In principle, the superiority of the Vizio 10.1 Tablet is marked by its impressive processor and its additional storage capacity. The price will be difficult to beat the device of the Mountain View, but we must remember that the low cost has so far been the hallmark of Vizio.

Another unknown is that until it comes out in the second half of the year, Google will have had time to have its new operating system ready Android Key Lime Pie 5, and we know that for a while only your tablets will be able to enjoy it. That way Google's may be protected.

We leave you a couple of videos of Vizio 10.1 Tablet so you can see it in action. In the second, go to minute 1:45 where you start to see the aforementioned tablet.

Well, taking into account the lack of stock of the nexus10, we will have to take into account this new Vizio tablet, because I'm tired of waiting for the google

The truth is that it is a pity that the devices they have released have been so badly distributed. Only Nexus 7 has worked well. The only thing we can recognize is that they have forced other brands to give more for less money.

Something biased to buy a product on the market with another that you do not even have its full characteristics. You value its reduced dimensions and its light weight compared to the nexus 10 without even knowing its dimensions or its weight. Therefore, the product specifications that exist are incorrect (referring to the "rear" speakers of the nexus 10, for example). And without any blush you conclude that it will be much better than the nexus 10 (I am not going to say yes or no here, the truth)

Obviously these headlines report a lot of hits in google but it gives a very poor image of this site, which pretends to look professional.
