We knew there would be two different models of Samsung Galaxy SIV, with two different processors in the shaker, but we didn't know specifically which countries would receive the model with Exynos 5 Octa processor and which ones with Snapdragon 600. In Sam Mobile they have taken the tip off for almost every country in the world. Unfortunately for Latin America they still do not have accurate information, so we are sorry for our readers on the other side of the Atlantic. We will update as soon as we find out.
The difference between Samsung's processor and Qualcomm's has to do with the number of cores and the connection capacity. Korean is based on architecture big.LITTLE, it has two pairs of four 1,6 GHz cores, some A15 for high performance and other A7 for low performance, although it can only use four. The bad thing is not capable of LTE. The American has four cores of Krait at 1,9 GHz and does have LTE.
Thus, the model with Exynos 5 Octa is called in code GT-I9500, while the one that carries a Snapdragon 600 is called GT-I9505. Look at the list and find your country. Where you see GT-i **** is that it is not yet decided.
