Notifications
We start with some changes that it seems that they are going to be introduced in the notifications and that you can appreciate perfectly thanks to the mock-ups that we leave you under these lines, the one on the left representing its current appearance and the one on the right the one they would have in Android N. As you can see, the icons have been reduced quite a bit in size, parting lines have been grayed out and the color also in the text. Even more interesting, at least in practical terms, is having a new quick setting bar on top.
Quick settings
We are also going to have some changes in the interface of the quick settings, and again we have mock-ups that allow us to compare its current appearance with what it is expected to have in the new version. Here the aesthetic changes are less important, but there are a couple of details that are worth commenting: the first one that, as you can see, appears a button to edit, which suggests that we will have more customization options; the second, that now there are two points at the bottom, which indicates that we will have two pages (Maybe we can put the settings we use less frequently in the second one).
Will the application menu disappear?
One of the novelties that could leave us Android N and, surely the one that is being heard the most so far, is the possible disappearance of the applications menu, something that we have already seen some manufacturers do and whose steps some predict will follow Google. It is difficult, however, to know if this is really going to happen or not, since images that would confirm it had seen the light (it looks like the space traditionally occupied by that button is now occupied by the Google Maps icon), but those of Mountain View have already ruled on them to say that they do not faithfully represent the changes in the interface. It should be noted that they have not specifically said that this feature is not going to be introduced (or rather, to be eliminated) but that this proof of it in particular is not valid.
Multi-window
We remind you that we also hope that with Android N An especially interesting function for tablet users has officially arrived, such as the multi-window, and we say that we wait for it to arrive officially, because, in fact, it is possible to activate it in Android Marshmallow And when it was discovered in the beta we assumed that when it was released globally it would already be up and running. Waiting for its official debut
How much longer will we have to wait to know officially Android N?
