A little over a month ago we wondered if Android security measures were late and fragmented. Improving the protection of the hundreds of millions of people who use the green robot software every day on both tablets and smartphones has been something that its developers have had to work on non-stop since the birth of this interface. Throughout its history, firm steps have occurred but also certain stumbles.

Secondly, we find another initiative that has been criticized by many users for the limitations that it can generate on the devices. It is a tool that detects if the terminal has been rooted and therefore, it has undergone important modifications in the operating system itself in an unauthorized way. Its creators consider that it is something very useful capable of stopping the hacks of the devices carried out without the knowledge or consent of the users and claim that it can only cause some problems for the more experienced users who have knowledge of software programming.

We close with the operating system itself. This version has undergone very important improvements compared to its predecessors, although its separation in time is only a few months. At a higher frequency of appearance of security patches as we said with Project Treble, a series of measures are added such as a greater control over permissions that are granted to apps when downloading them, and the veto of others that may appear to be plagiarism or have camouflaged malware.
