Not long ago we were reviewing the best Chinese tablets with Android, and now it's time to do the same with the best Chinese tablets with Windows, a sector that is becoming more and more important within the low-cost sector because resorting to it is almost mandatory if we are looking for more affordable options, due to the high prices of the most popular models.
Teclast X3 Plus
La Teclast X3 Plus is one of the few of this top 5 that passes the cut with a Intel Apollo Lake since, in general, we have preferred to highlight the options we have with processors and Intel Core m3, more solvent. The performance of this one, however, is true that it is quite good despite this limitation and it seems that it does not overheat too much. The quality of the finishes is also correct and the same can be said of the keyboard, although it should be noted that the trackpad is much smaller than what we may be used to. The screen is 11.6 inches and has resolution Full HD. The most negative points are probably that its autonomy and the speed of the connection may fall a little short for us. It is worth bearing in mind that you can buy it on Amazon for a price not much higher (just under 300 euros) than the usual price for importers (about 260-270 euros).
Cube iWork 5x
The other option to consider is processor Intel Apollo Lake is this iWork 5x, with still better performance and that you can get for just something more than the Teclast tablet (a little over 300 euros), although it must be borne in mind that it is a convertible, so it has a touch screen and can be used in the tablet position, but the keyboard cannot be undocked. This, logically, which makes it a heavier device, something that is also to blame since its screen is already made of 13.3 inches. Those extra inches, however, are also appreciated when working and the image quality of its screen is outstanding. The speakers are also of a fairly good level, so that overall it is a good option considering the consumption of multimedia content. It stays a bit fair, yes, in RAM memory (4 GB) and in storage (64 GB).
Cube Mix Plus
If we can afford to make a slightly larger investment (it can be found for less than 350 euros) and we do not mind that the screen is smaller (10.6 inches but also with resolution Full HD), the best option is probably still Mix Plus, one of the first Chinese tablets launched with Intel Core m3 and still one of the ones that gets the most out of it in terms of performance. This, along with being one of the most affordable options with this processor, are its great strengths, but it is true that although the quality of its construction is good, its keyboard and its audio system are somewhat more discreet. Betting on it is above all a matter of ensuring a smooth user experience even with relatively demanding applications or games at a good price. Teclast X5 Pro
With the Teclast X5 Pro We have already risen quite a bit in level, but also in price, already moving around 450 euros. What makes the difference it is above all that in this case the processor Intel Core m3 they accompany you 8 GB of RAM memory, in addition to that we will already have 256 GB storage. The screen is also larger than that of the Mix Plus, reaching 12.2 inches, and although the resolution remains Full HDThis is another good option for those who give some importance to the multimedia section, because it also passes with a note in image and sound quality. Cube Thinker i35
La Cube i35 It is the last rung of this ladder, one of the most impressive Windows hybrids that have come to us from China in recent times, although as such, it also turns out to be the most expensive on this list with a price that normally rises to 500 euros. Like the iWork 5x what we have here is also a convertible, and although it is true that in the performance section it does not offer us anything that we do not have with the somewhat more affordable Teclast X5 Pro (Intel Core m3, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB storage), what makes it worth considering paying a little more is your 13.5-inch laminated screen with 3000 x 2000 resolution, the same that we find in the Surface Book. The finishes are also one of the best that we can find in low-cost devices and, although its price is high, the truth is that it is still very interesting even if we put it in relation to its characteristics.
New additions
In the last few days, some Windows tablets and convertibles have seen the light that seem quite promising, such as the KNote 8, which we already told you that it comes as a super vitaminized version of the standard model launched a few months ago, with a larger screen and with more resolution, an Intel Core m3 processor as well and more memory. There is also a new convertible, Teclast F6 Pro, similar in characteristics to the iWork 5x, which is worth paying attention to if we are interested in this format. In any case, they are devices for which there is still no analysis and test data of real use, which is why we leave them out of the top 5 for the moment. This list has clearly dominated the devices of Cube y Teclast, but is that in the absence of new Windows tablets of Xiaomi (or the first of Honor), these are probably the most trusted brands that we can find in the field of Chinese tablets. In any case, it is worth mentioning at least the Oral 11 pro, a fairly respectable and relatively affordable option with the Intel Core m3, or the tablets from jumper, although it must be borne in mind that the most interesting thing in its catalog is really in the field of laptops, while its tablets are of more modest technical specifications and finishes. And finally, here we have focused on the higher level Chinese tablets with Windows, but if we are looking for cheaper options, there are still tablets with Intel Atom processors, something older, like the Teclast X98 II Plus, which can be used, or even more recent ones such as the Cube iWork 8 Air Pro.
