It is also a powerful tablet and has a battery of sufficient capacity so that its autonomy was remarkable.
Galaxy Tab S2
Although the MediaPad M5 10 is actually a relatively affordable option already, if we are looking for something a little cheaper, it may still be worth considering the Galaxy Tab S2 (it's one of those old tablets which has aged well and is still a good option) and is now fairly easily found for less than 400 euros. His great virtue is once again screen, which is not as polished as the successor (missing, for example, the HDR), but which already has many of its main virtues. Where we are probably going to notice the difference even more, in fact, it is in the sound section, where the Galaxy Tab S3 did take a quite important leap. It is also less powerful and not particularly bright in autonomy, although it is very comfortable to handle and hold for hours, as it is extraordinarily light for its size.
iPad Pro 10.5
We normally recommend the iPad Pro 10.5 more when we look at other sections, but that of Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it is after all an excellent tablet and very balanced, which may stand out more in other sections, but which is undoubtedly also a pleasure to use to watch movies or series or listen to music. The highlight of its screen, which is its 120 Hz refresh rate, does not look so much in this sense, however, and it is possible that it is one of the few cases in which perhaps it should be highlighted even more for its sound (also with four stereo speakers) than for its image quality. Here we do have, in addition, an unbeatable performance and a fantastic autonomy. Actually the main drawback that can be put is that its price can be excessive if what we are looking for is a tablet to use more only as a multimedia device.
Yoga Tab 3 Plus
And, precisely thinking about the price, we are going to include in this top 5 the Yoga Tab 3 Plus, one that we always stand out precisely for being one of the best tablets in quality / price ratio for being one of the few that offers us a 10-inch Quad HD display without the need to resort to low-cost brands with or without importation for up to under 300 euros. It is also a somewhat old model and, as we have said before, the resolution is not everything and its image quality is far from those of Samsung tablets, but it is cheaper, it mounts a mid-range Snapdragon processor and has a good autonomy. . Its design, also, which is true that it is not the most attractive, is quite appreciated in this case, offering a comfortable grip if we are going to hold it in our hands for a long time and with a rear support to support it on flat surfaces.

They occupy this position, as you can imagine, because if we already said about the iPad Pro that it was reasonable to doubt whether it was worth paying so much for a tablet for more everyday uses, how much more should we ask ourselves the same question for others whose prices can already exceed those 1000 euros. It is not reasonable to really recommend betting on any of them if it is not to work or replace our laptop, but it must be said that if we do, with either of the two we get an excellent device in the multimedia section.
