Yesterday we had some very interesting news about what we can expect from the MediaPad M5 10 Pro, which will be the best tablet ever released Huawei to date, and today we start the day with a new helping of images and details of the other 10-inch model that is expected to be presented at the MWC, some of them quite surprising.

The MediaPad M5 10 could arrive with a 10.8-inch screen

The latest news reaches us again through Gizmochina but this time from Winfuture.de and it must be said that some details have left us quite surprised, such as the fact that the screen will reach nothing less than 10.8 inches. Although other characteristics will be different in the superior model it is to assume that this is one of the things that it will have in common with the "Pro". In fact, for this other and thinking about the prominence that the keyboard will have with her, it seems a wise decision.

Today we also already have data on the cameras, a section about which yesterday's filtration did not tell us anything concrete, although it hinted that they would be of a high level, encouraging speculation that the images themselves gave rise to (due to their large size ). It must be said, however, that the 13 and 8 MP that this new source attributes to it, it is also nothing that goes too far from what we have already seen in other high-end tablets, including some from Huawei (the MediaPad M2 10, for example, already arrived with a 13 MP main camera ).

The data that leaves us doubts: Android Nougat?

There is another data that has surprised us, although in this case in a negative way and that is, apparently, this information would suggest that the MediaPad M5 10 could arrive with Android Nougat. It is not just that we wish you were wrong because it seems that a high-end Android tablet as early as 2018 should arrive with Android Oreo, but it contradicts what we have been seeing of this tablet in benchmark records and others. Huawei has already launched several phones with this latest version. The only thing we can say for the moment is that we are left with doubts in this area.

For the rest, basically things that we already knew are confirmed, such as that the resolution will be Quad HD, which will mount a Kirin 960, Which will 4 GB of RAM memory, which the standard version will leave us 32 GB and that it will have a fingerprint reader. Also the price that is predicted is within the expected, with slightly less than $400 for the Wi-Fi version and about 450 euros for the LTE. It seems that except for the Android version, we already have a pretty good idea of what awaits us in Barcelona, but we never know if we can get a surprise, so stay tuned this Sunday at noon, which is when the event will take place. Huawei and we will be here to give you all the details at the moment.
