This past dawn the QuickCover case for Nexus 5 of Google. This accessory for the recent Mountain View phablet has been made by LG itself, the device's manufacturer, and seeks to protect both its case and its screen with a flip-top design. Its price in the Play Store is $39,99.
We are facing an intelligent cover. This means that thanks to a magnetic connector it activates and deactivates the terminal screen. In addition, its slim design allows it to be compatible with wireless chargers, like the same one that just brand new today Google and that it is compatible with the previous Nexus 4 and the last Nexus 7 and that it uses Qi technology.
When placed on the Nexus 5, the total thickness of the set will be 12 mm and we will increase the weight by 39 grams, so we will have a total set of 169 grams.
We can choose it in two colors: black and white. These two colors are consistent with those of the device itself, so we will not alter its initial aesthetics.
If we go to the Spanish website, its price will be 39,99 euros, that is, a translation of 1 to 1 with respect to its price in dollars. It is still thought from Google that Europeans have enough money to spare so that we do not worry about currency exchange.
El white model is now available and it is delivered in a maximum of two working days. The version in black not available yet.
If we were looking for a cheaper and more colorful alternative to this case, we can also find the Bumper Case in the Play Store for 29,99 euros. The difference is that it lacks front protection, although it is equally compatible with wireless charging. You can see it in action at This Video.
After this move, we already have the two official Nexus 5 cases out there. In both cases, it seems that the price is a little raised and that it will be convenient to wait for more reasonable alternatives.
