There had been no news so far that Redmond could have planned to launch a third model, but that's what seems to have happened. A new model of the Surface 3, halfway between the previous two
As we said, the only thing that distinguished the two models that were presented from the Surface 3 it is only the memory, since the processor and the screen were the same in both. It is true that the difference was not reduced to storage capacity but, as sometimes happens, it was linked to the RAM that we would have at our disposal. Thus, the most affordable version had 2 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal memory and is sold for $599, and the superior offers us 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal memory and can be purchased for $719.
We have been surprised to learn that in some distributors in northern Europe, more specifically in Germany, it has been seen, without there having been a prior announcement of Microsoft, a third model, which would be between the other two, with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory. The most logical thing would be to think that it is some kind of error but it also appears with a different code, as if it were a separate model. Its price does not match that of the initial models either, standing, as might have been expected, halfway between the two. Although it varies a bit from dealer to dealer, it seems to be around the $659. At the moment we do not know if it will arrive in Spain or other European countries, or when it could do it but, of course, we will be attentive to inform you as soon as more is known.
