We know that dark mode has many fans in Android and although, unfortunately, it seems that we will continue to have to wait for a version that allows us to enjoy it throughout the entire system, at least we have a wide collection of apps level to which we can turn to cover a good part of our most common needs.
Browsers
En Android Police They have left us a wide selection of apps with a good dark mode and it is worth doing a little review of their proposal, which is quite complete, starting with the browsers, where we have three main highlights: the first is Firefox, which does not have a dark mode as it is but gives us the option to install custom themes; the second is Puffin, which is a browser that must always be taken into account also if we are looking for speed; and the third is that of Samsung, an alternative to the most popular more interesting than it might seem at first.
Multimedia
Among the best designed multimedia apps with a dark mode that we can find, it is worth highlighting Camera Roll Gallery, to see our photographs (it may be interesting to have it as a second app together with Google Photos), but here we are going to make a small addition, because it seems to us that we cannot fail to make a mention of VLC in the video players section and, although if we have a little patience we will end up being able to enjoy it without complications, if we are really interested in it, it is possible to put a dark mode on YouTube on Android also already. And for music, you know that Spotify He gives it to us.
News and information
One of the uses that many of us give to our tablets is reading and the main apps to read books and comics They have a night mode, but we can add a few information and news apps that also have a dark mode and are three heavyweights: the first is Wikipedia, the first resource for the majority when it is necessary to leave doubts in some question; the second is Feedly, the best option that we probably had after the disappearance of Google Reader; and the third is Pocket, one of the most popular apps to collect interesting articles that we find and read them offline later comfortably.
Messenger service
This is a little more aimed at mobiles, but we are also going to do a little review of messaging apps with dark mode and, of course, we have to start with Telegram, the app preferred by many beyond this little extra. There are a couple more, more specific apps that have also earned a mention, in any case: one is Discord, dedicated especially to the most gamers, and the other is Press, the best option to manage SMS, with options to synchronize between devices (they are rarely used, it is true, but we cannot completely do without an app for them either).
Productivity
We finish with some recommendations for those who use their tablets more to work and study, among which we have a couple of very interesting writing apps, a deliberately simple one (for those who do not need many extra functions and prefer to avoid distractions) which is Monospace, and another more complete and optimized for tablets, which is QuickEdit. Even if it is not a daily activity for us, the truth is that it does not hurt to have a good tool for it installed on our tablet (or even phablet). The third recommendation in this case is a file explorer, which is actually something that we will end up using on many occasions: Solid Explorer File Manager.
