If we are considering high-end Android tablets, we do not have to worry either, because these types of premium devices always include this type of extras and practically any of them will offer it to us. The problem, more than anything, is that right now we don't have much to choose from in this area: we have it in the Galaxy Tab S3, of course, but also in the cheapest Galaxy Tab S2 y Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus. In any case, we are talking about the fact that (depending on the offers and discounts of each moment), we have to invest at least 350 euros, but despite this the prices, in general (comparing the most similar models), are somewhat more lower than Apple tablets.
Mid-range Android tablets
If we are looking for a tablet with a fingerprint reader something more affordable than what we have seen so far, the best option we have in the mid-range in the Huawei tablets, as with many other key design issues on tablets. Even so, we will not find it in its more affordable tablets of the MediaPad T series, but we have to go to the MediaPad M: both the MediaPad M3 8-inch (which is actually a high-end tablet, only with a mid-range price) as the MediaPad M3 10 Lite (with a similar price and a larger screen, although a little more modest) they have it and both have a great quality / price ratio, in general (it is worth to be a little aware of the offers).
Chinese tablets

In the 8-inch, in any case, it is located on the front, in a more conventional way. Both can be found without too much trouble for less than 200 euros.
Windows Tablets
As we have already commented talking about the iPad Pro 12.9, despite the fact that due to many of its characteristics (price, quality and use profile) we could hope that there would be no problem to find this extra among the Windows tablets, is somewhat more complicated than it seems: in the Surface Pro we only have it on one of the keyboards and the Galaxy Book what it offers us is the possibility of unlocking it using the fingerprint reader of our Galaxy. If we want a reader integrated into the tablet itself, the most interesting options are the MateBook E and the Miix 520. In both cases we are around 1000 euros, but nothing different was to be expected speaking of Windows tablets of a certain level.
Ultra-resistant tablets
We end up with an option that is not going to be too cheap either (by price we could well have included it among the conventional high-end Android tablets) and that is designed for a fairly specific use profile, which is Galaxy Tab Active 2. The truth, in fact, is that except for its aesthetics, it is a tablet that can be asked for little more in the design section. It is not a tablet for the general public, of course, and in fact it is not easy to find yet, but for those who are looking rugged tablets it is the safest bet.
